Destroy All Humans: Path of the Furon to feature Garry Schyman score.
Los Angeles – Nov. 20, 2008 – Film, television and video game composer Garry Schyman has created the original music score for the newest installment of the Destroy All Humans! video game series. Developed by Sandblast Games (THQ Inc.), Destroy All Humans!® Path of the Furon™ is set in the 1970’s and the game’s score is inspired by music styles from that era. Schyman’s musical influences for DAH Path of the Furon include classic 70’s film scores by Lalo Schifrin, Jerry Goldsmith and Roy Budd. The DAH Path of the Furon score was recorded with a live symphony orchestra as well as brass band, flute soloist, saxophone soloist and wah wah guitar performed by “A-list” musicians in Hollywood.
“The idea for DAH3 was to continue the approach set in DAH1 and DAH2 as though I was a film composer writing in that period,” said Composer Garry Schyman. “Of course wah wah guitar is slathered throughout because it was so ubiquitous and influential. Personally this is my favorite of the three DAH scores. I love this style of music!”

LittleBigPlanet To Not Be Region-Locked
With emphasis added on not, it has come to our attention that Sony Computer Entertainment has stated that they will not be region locking LittleBigPlanet. All shared levels will be available in the game worldwide, regardless of which region your console is from. From Sony:
Hi all, as many of you may have heard already in an interview at Leipzig the senior producer for LittleBigPlanet announced that the game is region locked. This is in fact not the case, and all shared levels in the game will be available worldwide. The confusion arose out of regional differences in how moderation will work as there are different legal rules each region have to play by, and at one point this looked like it may require the game to be independent in each region - however this has been worked around and there will only be one region for the game…. a LittleBigRegion.
Apologies for any confusion over this issue, however I’m pretty sure you’re happy with the result.
Alone In The Dark For 360 To Be Patched
Unfortunately, as some know, the Xbox 360 release of Alone In The Dark came packaged with not the best control’s and a shoddy camera system. According to Kotaku, developer Eden Studios has heard the complaints and is addressing the issue. The upcoming PlayStation 3 release will feature the fixes straight out the box while the 360 version will be graced with an update which, according to Eurogamer, “will implement most of the changes that have been made to the upcoming PS3 version.” Eden Studios opened its Alone In The Dark presentation at Leipzig by detailing the shortcomings of the 360 version. “We have absorbed and taken every piece of criticism about the game that was constructive and would help,” a representative stated.
No word as of yet on when the patch will be released.
GC 2008: Europe getting 160GB PlayStation 3 Oct. 31
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced at the 2008 Games Convention press conference that they will be releasing another SKU to the European market with a 160GB HDD, a €449 price tag, and €70 worth of downloadable game content.
With the sheer amount of downloadable content, digital distribution, and video game installations, it comes as no surprise that a new SKU would be made available with a larger HDD. We expect a similar announcement from Sony Computer Entertainment America. We would like to remind the readers that the PlayStation 3 features a easily replaceable a 2.5″ SATA HDD allowing users to swap in larger hard drives as they see fit, no matter what SKU they have.
